The ICP invites all B Psych Alumni to join our volunteer team to reach out to communities by presenting 3-4 hour workshops on mental health and social issues in underprivileged and under resourced communities.

The workshops could be focused on:

1. Providing training to professionals in a specific area, township or informal settlement working with a specific mental health or societal issue (for example, teenage pregnancies);
2. Providing a 3-4 hour workshop open to anybody interested on any mental health or societal issue.

The goal is to present 3 workshops to people in need. The focus will be on dealing with the collective trauma caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, i.e. isolation, job loss, illness and loss. The workshops could be offered online or on the ground. We will apply for CPD credits for these workshops.

The volunteer program for those interested in evangelism and missions include:

L-10-T training that will equip volunteers to pray for the lost where you go and offer this training in any church or Christian organisation.

"The mission statement is to equip committed Christians in every country, denomination, church, house church, business, school, old age home and prison with the L-10-T programme to impact their community with the gospel of Christ, i.e., love and care for all and especially the lost and needy."
